The qualification is now intended for door supervisors who had obtained a door supervision licence before the current door supervision qualifications became available. Thames Support offers security awareness to door supervisors and the unit educates you to understand the issues of counter-terrorism that are significant to door supervisors, we would then show you how to deal with first aid situations when they occur in premises.
Entry Requirement
- 18 years or more of age
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken).
Mandatory Units
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills.
- Application of Terror Threat Awareness.
- Principle of using equipment relevant to working as a door supervisor
Teaching Method
Classroom Training will be adopted combine with both group, pair activities and lot of practical interactive sessions.
